Camera settings for using manual-focus lens for my Fujifilm X-T3

There are many mount adaptors available for the Fujifilm’s XF mount. One possible adaptor is for Leica M mount lens. This allows me to mount many great manual-focus M mount lens on my X-T3. Here are the camera settings for using manual-focus lens.

Set once and forget #

In the menu:

  1. AF/MF setting (2/3). MF ASSIST. FOCUS PEAK HIGHLIGHT. RED(HIGH).
  2. SET UP. BUTTON/DIAL SETTING (2/3). SHOOT WITHOUT LENS. Choose ON.

Set to manual focus #

Set the focus mode selector to M

When changing manual-focus lens #

In the menu, SHOOTING SETTING (2/2). MOUNT ADAPTOR SETTING. Enter a focus length for the attached lens, e.g. 35mm.
